Bonjour! We've come to the end of my Europe adventures, but no fear because our schedules were packed in Pairs. Our first day we ventured out into the country side and visited The Palace of Versailles. Throughout our next days we went to The Louvre, walked down Champs Elysees, and saw Norte Dame.

The Palace of Versailles

Versailles is in the countryside of France so we got there by a 45 minute train ride. The walk was very pretty, I think we all were expecting open land but instead saw shops and streets that looked like they were frozen in time

Our walk continued then we were welcomed by the golden gates, Chateau Versailles!

When I tell you guys the size of this Palace is breathtaking, we thought this was it; but no this is only the state apartments. Let's go in!

Here is the hall of mirrors but really the chandeliers stole the show. Very beautiful though because the mirrors made the chandeliers look more extravagant .

The gardens- beautiful even when it was still cold.I can only imagine how lush they would look in the warm spring.

The Louvre

The Louvre! Where all of the historically famous art is. Three tips for anyone's first time going. 1- go early! Be there when its open because once it gets to around noon is packed and almost un enjoyable. 2- get the audio tour, this is something my family did at almost every location but it is so worth it because the majority of the signs are in French. 3- Don't expect to see it all in one day, if possible allot for two days in your trip.

Mona Lisa

Aphrodite

Sphinx
Notre Dame

A beautiful cathedral, but let's not lie here, we had to visit to fulfill our inner child of watching Hunchback of Notre Dame

Last but certainly not least, right before we got to Paris my cousin reached out to us because she was actually in Paris for Fashion Week. So we met up with her and my other cousin (her bother) who is in school in Paris. A wonderful surprise for us all, it had been years since we had seen each other.

All in all, Paris, you treated us so well! The immense amount of wine and cheese is something I will continue to rave about. We're already talking about our next trip. Until next time, Au revoir!
