What I Wear in a Week

Hello everyone! I am here to show you guys what some of my go to looks are throughout a normal week for me.

#1: Casual, going to class

Jeans: Urban Outfitters, Top: American Apparel, Cardigan: Boohoo

So this is probably one of my favorite go to looks and let me tell you why.

High waisted jeans make an outfit look like you tried harder than you did because they just tend to look a bit nicer. I also have fairly short legs so I like for them to make me look taller. Not to mention high waisted jeans tend to make my butt look good too :)

Next a semi loose fitting t-shirt that will look good under a cardigan. I say semi loose because they just seem a little more effortless. I also am a fan of plain ones because they're easy to layer and accessorize.

A long cardigan. Y'all, I LOVE long cardigans! They dress up an outfit to the perfect degree and they make me feel warm and cozy all day. I get them in basic colors so they become very easy layering pieces

Simple necklaces. I tend to wear two at a time because I like the layered look. Gold is my go to because I think it looks the best on my skin and I also have the most simple necklaces in gold.

Converse, whether it's converse or any type of sneaker, it's my favorite. They're easy to slip on when I'm running late (which is pretty often) and they're comfortable as I run around campus all day.

A variation of a t-shirt and cardigan. Graphic tees are also a good effortless piece

#2 Gym after class

Two times in during the academic week I go to the gym right after class. I make sure that I'm dressed because telling myself that I will go home after class to change is myself accepting defeat. Alas I dress as I go to class but I like either the athleisure look or the disguise. Here we have a mix of both.

I don't necessarily like to feel like I'm in gym clothes all day but being comfortable is nice. My oversized denim jacket is one of my favorite items in my closet, I can dress it up or down but also use it as that perfect extra piece in an outfit like this. Putting any type of jacket over a hoodie is a look that I tend to favor because, one its warm and two it has a very cool vibe.
